Lifejacket Inspection & Servicing
At RISE Safety, we provide professional lifejacket inspection, servicing, rearming and certification from our service base in Nairn, supporting leisure, marine, commercial and workboat customers across Inverness, the Highlands and Scotland.
Each lifejacket is visually inspected, inflation tested, checked for serviceable components, repacked and recorded. Digital certificates and service records are provided, with optional NFC tagging available for customers who want clear equipment traceability.

Visual Inspection
We inspect the lifejacket cover, bladder, webbing, stitching, buckles, oral inflation tube, labels and general condition for signs of wear, damage, corrosion or missing parts.
Inflation Test
Each lifejacket is inflated and checked for leakage or loss of pressure. This helps confirm the bladder and inflation system remain serviceable and ready for use.
Cylinder & Mechanism Check
We check the CO₂ cylinder, cylinder weight, firing mechanism, manual pull cord and automatic capsule or cartridge where fitted. Expired, damaged or fired parts can be replaced during service.
Repacking & Certification
After inspection, the lifejacket is correctly repacked and issued with a service record and digital certificate. Serviced jackets can also be added to the RISE digital tracking system.
Lifejacket Servicing Cost
Our standard lifejacket service price is £15 per lifejacket, plus any replacement parts required.
Replacement parts may include CO₂ cylinders, automatic capsules, cartridges, lights or other serviceable components where required. Any parts fitted are recorded against the individual lifejacket as part of the service record.
If a lifejacket fails the inflation test, we do not charge the standard service fee for that jacket.
Digital service records and certificates are included with RISE lifejacket servicing.
Lifejacket Servicing With Digital Records
RISE Safety does more than inspect and repack your lifejackets. Each serviced lifejacket can be added to our digital equipment tracking system, giving you a clear online record of its service history, certificate, status, next service date and inspection notes. This helps customers in Nairn, Inverness, the Highlands and across Scotland keep lifejacket records organised, traceable and easy to access when needed.
Optional Full Equipment Tracking
For customers who need full traceability, the RISE system can also be used to manage safety equipment across users, vehicles, vessels, warehouses and sites. The full system supports NFC scanning, equipment booking in and out, service reminders, inspection records, problem reporting, digital certificates and chain-of-custody tracking.
Regular RISE servicing customers can access the full system at a discounted monthly rate.
